By KellyNicoleTravel on January 4, 2017 • ( Leave a comment )

SO, I WAS RECENTLY FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO GET TO GO TO THE EXUMAS, BAHAMAS… MORE SPECIFICALLY, STANIEL CAY, BAHAMAS… AND BOY I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.  IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL THERE.  CRYSTAL CLEAR BLUE WATER, BLUE SKIES, AND NO WORRIES (OK MAYBE A FEW WORRIES LIKE POSSIBLE SUNBURN, TOO MUCH […]

A LITTLE INFO:  The Cerro Chato is an inactive volcano located in La Fortuna, Costa Rica, right next to the active Arenal Volcano.  Because it is inactive, it is totally legal to […]

BASIC INFO. Devil’s Bridge Trail  is a beautiful hike with an amazing end point.  The ending point is the largest natural sandstone arch (“bridge”) in Sedona.  The entire trail is well marked and very hard to get lost on.  It has multiple view points along the way that are […]

Hiking the Zion Narrows in Winter Time

By KellyNicoleTravel on December 15, 2016 • ( 5 Comments )

Being the nature/outdoors lover than I am, the Zion Narrows hike immediately caught my attention when I saw another travel blogger post about her hike there.  I had actually never heard of it prior to that, but knew I had to get there. Just a few weeks after […]

5 ways to be HAPPIER in life!

By KellyNicoleTravel on December 5, 2016 • ( Leave a comment )

It’s been 3-4 months since I decided to quit my job as a teacher… (seems WAY longer than that?!)  so just want to follow up on life since then…

My first solo travel experience… was amazing!

By KellyNicoleTravel on December 5, 2016 • ( 2 Comments )

(Since I don’t typically date my blogs, just want to say this was written in 2016…)–  I have been seriously slacking on my blog.  Since my last post forever ago, I did some new things that I am extremely proud of myself for.  I have been on hundreds […]

Why you should walk toward things you’re passionate about…

By KellyNicoleTravel on December 5, 2016 • ( Leave a comment )

(written in 2016) The picture of me above is absolutely perfect for this post.  I can’t tell if I’m walking away from something or walking toward something, but I am currently DOING BOTH in my life.  Walking away from one thing to obtain something better…

Another long haul road trip in a tiny space completed together + many more mountains conquered together⛰From tinder to forever dealing with my shenanigans all over everywhere.. I’m grateful♡
3000+ miles around the U.K. and couldn’t be doing it without this mini van. Thank you Klein for getting us around every day and providing us shelter and a place to sleep, cook, and relax every night. At first it seemed crazy we went from large van to mini van for this time period.. but it’s amazing what little you truly need. It took a little time getting used to the smaller space, but once we had a routine down (one person relaxes while the other cooks, then the other person relaxes while the other cleans, etc) it’s been just fine! And whenever we pass people traveling by bike or foot with nothing but a tent, I feel unbelievably grateful for our small van solely for the fact I don’t have to set up/take down a tent in the rain each day. - So Please remember you don’t need much to do what you love, and there will never be a ‘right’ or ‘better’ time in the future to pursue happiness... just do what you can with what you have now :) #vanlife
The Storr 😍One of the most known rock formations in Scotland, located on the Isle of Skye. — It is one of the best feelings in the world to see things with my own eyes after they have just been written down on my bucket list for so long.
Hiked up top of ‘The Cobbler’ today! I’m not afraid of heights but I can say it was a bit nerve wracking to scramble up on the rock, as it sits on the summit of a mountain with sheer drops on either side. But we set out on this hike JUST to do this and I am so happy we did it and to check it off my never ending bucket list. Loving Scotland so far☺️🙏🏻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
Today I turn 34. Although it’s really just another day, it’s also the privilege of getting a chance to live another year of life. As you probably know, besides getting married, 33 was quite rough for me. — But today I woke up in the van, in a place I’d never been before. We made coffee ☕️ on our portable stove outside and then drank it while being surrounded by sunshine and free roaming sheep 🐑. To some, that wouldn’t be ideal for a birthday.. but to me, it was perfect. It feels so good to be out here in the wild again.— Life is short, do what you love!! 🤍 now onto Scotland! Weeeeee
First time in Wales and it is way more beautiful than I ever knew. It’s so clean and has a lot more mountains than I expected. The one I am on top of in this photo was actually an active volcano at one point. It was a 6 mile steep hike up and along many ridge lines. After many struggles this year, I am so eternally grateful to be here and more grateful than ever for my life and my legs that give me the ability to still see places like this. 🖤 Have you been to Wales?!🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
Yesterday I walked along the southernmost point of the UK’s cliffs on the ↠Lizard Peninsula↞ 🙌🏻 simply stunning.
This screenshot accurately depicts what I’ve been up to the last month, since I have posted exactly 0 photos on my page of it so far. I’ve been walking all over Cornwall, England! I made a personal goal to walk 90 miles anywhere outside this month.. and I’m almost there! 👏🏻
Our spontaneous courthouse wedding day, during a pandemic 🥰and it was just perfect for us ☺️👰🏻🤍
